BOA Constructors Architects Ltd is located in Petone just north of Wellington in New Zealand. Steve Shadwell gained his early experience in a medium sized Architectural firm from 1986 to 1990 and became a registered Architect in 1990. From 1991 to 1993 he earned a living building but from then on has practised full time as a solo practitioner Architect (apart from some isolated building stints including building a 3 bedroom house for family in 2002).

 

 

Main areas of work are the design of new houses and house alterations.

 

 

Steve has developed a speciality in architectural visualisation, or rendering. This includes the study of sunshading effects on proposed structures and buildings. Clients find such imagery invaluable when applying for resource consent or when marketing a proposal.
